Boney James - Backbone - Jazz, sometimes smooth, a few with vocals. Pronounce Boney James: "Bow-Nay James", not Bow-knee


Boy Katindig Boy Katindig Noteworthy-9501 1995 - Probably hard to find - really solid Jazz, smooth and funky - some vocals though.

Chuck Greenberg From a Blue Planet - Gold Castle Rec- 1991 - Interesting jazz with what sounds like the pan flute. Very 'new age' sounding jazz music. Smooth Jazz for the mind and soul.

Chuck Loeb - The Moon the Stars and the Setting Sun - ULTRA ESSENTIAL if you are into smooth jazz.



Chuck Loeb - All there Is - Another ESSENTIAL Smooth Jazz CD.

Dan Balmer Becoming Became Chase Music- 1988 - Bluesy and smooth jazz - really good. I think all of his other CDs are more non-smooth jazz, but this is a REALLY GOOD smooth jazz one!



Dan Siegel Another Time,Another Place Epic 1984 - Sounds like the music from some romantic movie from the early 80's.

Dan Siegel Clairvoyance Unity/Countdown 1998 - Probably his best smooth jazz CD. If you never heard of Dan Siegel, get this CD first. I usually see this on Amazon for under $4 used.

Dan Siegel Reflections Epic 1983 - Another 80's sounding smooth jazz, not a lot of bass.

Tony Guerrero - Mysterie - Really Really good Smooth Jazz.


Rick Braun - Body and Soul - Another ESSENTIAL SMOOTH JAZZ CD.


Jeff Berman - Things She Said Palmetto 1993 - Very interesting smooth and mellow jazz. Probably hard to find, but very worth looking for!

Richard Elliot - Soul Embrace - 1993 - Quite good, reminds me a little of Gato B. This has 15 tracks, 3 of which have vocals. Has a bit of that late 80's sound.

Richard Elliot - On The Town - 1991 - Has a very solid 80's sound - 12 tracks - Reminds me of Dan Siegel. Two of these tracks have vocals, the rest are perfect smooth jazz & upbeat instrumentals. Best tracks are Midnight Passion, On The Town, and Highway 1.
